In the Polkadot ecosystem, there are several testnets, including Westend and its associated system chains like Westend People Chain and Westend Asset Hub, as well as Passeo Testnet, among others. Since these testnets are designed for experimentation, they may occasionally experience issues that could affect the extension’s performance. We encourage users to proceed with caution when using them. Testnets are disabled by default, so to enable them, please go to the settings menu and check the “Enable testnet chains” option, as shown below.
