# Manually Update PolkaGate

**Sometimes, your browser may not update PolkaGate automatically right away.**

If a new version has just been released, Chrome can take a little time to push the update to everyone. In those cases, you can manually update **PolkaGate** to get the latest features, improvements, and bug fixes instantly — without waiting for Chrome’s schedule.

Here's how to manually update the extension on Chrome:

Open the **Chrome** browser, open the menu from the **three dots** in the **top-right corner**, as shown below.

Then select **Extensions → Manage Extensions.**

On the **Extensions** page at the top-right corner, toggle **Developer mode** **ON**.

Once Developer mode is **enabled**, an **Update** button will appear at the top.\
Click it — Chrome will update all extensions to their latest versions.
