🎇How to Work with PolkaGate Snap

PolkaGate Snap serves as your account manager for Substrate-based chains such as Polkadot, Kusama, and more. It allows you to interact with a range of decentralized applications (dApps) for various tasks including fund transfers, identity management, staking, and advanced functions.

To manage staking specifically, head over to the Polkadot Staking Dashboard.

For governance participation, use subsquare.io. Here’s a step-by-step example of how to perform a simple fund transfer: 1- Go to Accounts Tab and click on Send :

2- Enter the recipient address and the amount of tokens to transfer and click on Make Transfer:

3- Click on the Sign and Submit on the opened window:

4- The MetaMask popup will display the PolkaGate Snap transaction confirmation page.

5- By clicking the Confirm button, your transaction will be sent to the blockchain. A green checkmark will appear, indicating that your transaction has been successfully completed 🎉!
